32BIG Big thanks to all those who donated time, energy, support and supplies and money.  We now have a beautiful deck, with gracious stairs to a lovely bricked patio and walk way to the lower back door.

On Sunday June 19th we enjoyed a dedication of this new space - complete with saxophone fanfare from Brian Klowak and ice cones afterwards.

See the photo gallery of the building and dedication of the deck here.

Peter Hill-Carroll deserves an extra enormous thank you - as project manager and lead builder, along with his team of dedicated carpenters who came out on weekends last summer and fall.  In all there were more than 100 people who contributed towards the deck and patio project.  Next steps include finishing the landscaping on either side of the deck area and this will hopefully happen over the summer.

DO YOU HAVE HOSTAS OR FERNS TO DONATE? We are looking for shade loving plants to complete the landscaping. Please let Liz Redston or Lois Whyte know if you can spare some plants from your garden.

Thanks everyone !

Liz Redston and Lois Whyte
