Locally-Produced Food Delivered Monthly to our Parking Lot

Harvest Moon Local Food Initiative, a collective of Manitoba farmers, will be making monthly deliveries to our parking lot.

The next ordering deadline is October 30th, for delivery to our parking lot on November 6th at 2:00 p.m.

Price lists and order forms are available on line at the Harvest Moon Website. Pick your farmer, pick your food then pick up your order.

Organic produce will be available in season and locally produced meat year round. The meat is from animals raised with no hormones, antibiotics or other drugs. Indicate on your order that you are associated with the Unitarian Church. This will guarantee that the delivery will be in the right place and that there will be some rebate to the church.

Our Principles

We, the member congregations of the Canadian Unitarian Council, covenant to affirm and promote:

  • the inherent worth and dignity of every person;
  • justice, equity, and compassion in human relations;
  • acceptance of one another and encouragement to spiritual growth in our congregations;
  • a free and responsible search for truth and meaning;
  • the right of conscience and the use of the democratic process within our congregations and in society at large;
  • the goal of world community with peace, liberty, and justice for all;
  • respect for the interdependent web of all existence of which we are a part.
