House Committee Update – We need your assistance please
Please talk to Liz Redston, Margaret Mooibroeck, Jo Johnson about any of these topics.
Please consider helping with simple garden care this summer. We need a few people to call on over the summer for weeding and watering. Super easy – we would call you when help is needed and then you come when it is convenient.
Calling All Sewers
The House Committee is looking for creative sewers for a couple of fun projects. Do you like to make quilted art projects or wall hangings, or simply like to sew? We have projects that could use your expertise and creativity:
- Entrance banner for House front door vestibule
- Table runners for dining room
- New Church Banner for General Assembly – we have a pattern and fabric ready to go
- Chair slip cover project
- Seasonal banners
Looking for kitchen help and planning for Margaret’s retirement
Each week Margaret Mooibroeck washes the tea towels and table cloths, cleans the kitchen, waters the plants, and replenishes the coffee supplies.
We are looking for a couple of people to help as understudies to these important weekly activities and in time take over some or all of what Margaret has been doing for a long time. We are open to creative ideas on how to make this work and would love to hear from you.

Building Use Survey - New Ideas needed on how to manage evolving needs
At the recent Committee Chair meeting, we shared a survey asking for feedback on the how we use and manage our space, and suggestions on priorities for refurbishment. We welcome feedback from all members and invite you to complete the survey here, or pick up a copy in the foyer. Return to Liz Redston by the end of June please.
