Celebrating 125 Years
We have much to be proud of as 2016 marks 125 years of our Unitarian Universalist presence in Winnipeg with free minds and open hearts.
From who we were to who we are now, throughout 2016 we will create opportunities to celebrate our rich historical roots and we look forward to what we are building together now in our community of faith.
What does “Free Minds Open Hearts” mean to you? What gifts of time, talent, curiosity or resources can you bring to our community and to our celebration year?
How do you want to honour our history and participate in the fun we have planned? There is something here for everyone, and most importantly we hope you will bring the gift of your presence.
Please be sure to check back regularly as we continue to provide updates on special events and activities. Take time to read some of our historical snapshots and stories. Consider getting involved with the events, activities and Legacy Project discussions for the design of our proposed Memorial Garden.
As a community of faith we look forward to building relationships new and old as we share our year of celebration together. Come join us on the journey.
