Comments, Please...
I've implemented a commenting feature on our site. I want to see how it goes so it's only on a few places on the site:
- All of the blogs
- The articles in the "Help" section
- A few other places, such as the UU Commentary section, and RE Special Events and Fundraising
This system requires that you log in to the site, so if you don't see the commenting area, log in: scroll down (wayyyy down) and use the log in area at the bottom. If you don't know how or have never logged in, click on the link to request a login ID and password.
Also, be aware that I will receive an email from every comment posted, and will be able to instantly delete any that are, um, in bad taste or spam.
Polls
There are numerous website issues about which I would love to get opinion, such as whether our Communicator should be in a protected area of the site or not. I will begin making polls on the site in the near future, to see if they get any response.
Article of the Week
I've gotten a few positive comments about the new "Article of the Week" feature of the site. The front page (only) has a rotating "gallery" with items that are urgent, commonly-important (like the upcoming service), and anything I feel would be topical/current/neat for people to see.
If you have an idea for some website content which should be highlighted on our site, let me know.
