Photo Gallery Up: Deck Building

E-mail Print PDF

Update: August 31st

  1. New photo gallery is here: Building Our Deck.
  2. New favicon (that's the little chalice you see when you bookmark the site, or in better browers, just visit the site). If you see the old one or none at all, clear your cache and quit your browser, then restart your browser and visit the UU site again.
  3. If you haven't been down to the bottom of the site lately, there's cool stuff down there (UU Planet, Log In, and other things...).
  4. I'm considering doing a few "show and tell" sessions to show people how to use the site. Thoughts? This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it

UU Bits and Bytes

Politics and UUs

Historically, Unitarian Universalists have often been active in political causes, notably the civil rights movement, the gay rights movement, the social justice movement, and the feminist movement.

In the 19th century, Unitarians and Universalists were active in abolitionism, the women's movement, the temperance movement and other social reform movements. The second woman's rights convention was held at the First Unitarian church in Rochester, NY.
