Whew! What a week. Lots of changes to report.
- Well, first it's obvious that I've shelved the dark green color scheme for the moment and am trying a new template. The old one is still around, but just on the shelf. I can put it back at any time. But frankly, I and some others were finding it a bit, well, dull... so I'm trying something new. Will be changing a lot this week so check back soon.
- Check out the Calendar. A new look with some new colors that match the website theme. The "What's Happening" area in the right column is similarly updated.
- The green tabs at the top are now only on the Home (or first) page. There's a lot going on there, and keeping it only on the Welcome page will make the page less distracting, I think.
- UU Planet TV widget is installed on the left, and is receiving good feedback.
- The log in area is still on the left, but is on the bottom.
- Lots of menu changes, such as the "everybody's blog in the blog area" mentioned in a previous post. Main menu has been gone from the left side for awhile, but I thought I'd mention that, too.
- Our Principles are now on the Home page, along with a link to read them en francais. There are "read more" links on both the welcome from Rev. Millie Rochester and the Principles to help make the page a wee bit more compact.
