Royal Manitoba Theatre Discussion Group

The Manitoba Theatre Discussion Group meets once during every MTC main stage production in a private room at Aaltos, Canad Inn, Garden City. Dinner begins at 6 p.m. and our meeting follows at 7 p.m. A different leader researches each production and provides both background and guidance for our discussions.

If you are interested in enriching your theatre-going experience please feel free to join us. New members and casual visitors are always welcome and participation during any discussion is entirely up to the individual. For more information call Pam or Bryan Harmer at 663-3913, or This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .

Unitarians Come to America

Universalism came to America from England, where the old doctrine that all human beings would eventually be saved through Jesus Christ and join in harmony with God in heaven had finally become the central doctrine of a separate denomination.

“A person will worship something, have no doubt about that. We may think our tribute is paid in secret in the dark recesses of our hearts, but it will out. That which dominates our imaginations and our thoughts will determine our lives, and our character. Therefore, it behooves us to be careful what we worship, for what we are worshipping we are becoming.”

~Ralph Waldo Emerson
