Property Development Committee Update

November 2009

Big thanks to Kris Breckman for framing our diagram of the proposed property development plan. You will find the diagram hanging in the foyer area by the back stairs to the lower level. We also intend to have an information sheet with current projects and plans near the framed picture for your easy reference.

The #1 priority project for 2010 is the deck off the foyer on the north side. We have plans for fundraising and hope to have Board approval this month. Stay tuned for more information on how you can help financially or as part of a work crew in the spring when we start to build. The deck was chosen as the next priority project due to the positive impact it may have on our building rentals and overall use of the back yard with easy access.

The #2 priority project for 2011 is the sign at the front of our property. We know that a sign can also play a big part in attracting new people to the church and profiling special sermon's or events. This too will require fund raising and planning for participation in the building and landscaping.

As always, if you have questions or want to help on these projects please talk to Liz Redston or Lois Whyte. Thanks everyone and we look forward to your support on the deck building project in the coming year.

  • words and deeds of prophetic women and men which challenge us to confront powers and structures of evil with justice, compassion, and the transforming power of love;
